Enfin....Voila mon blog!!! Je remercie mes sources pour les photos que j'ai empruntees!
Je suis arrivée à Londres le 4 février 2006, ça fait déjà trois mois que je suis ici!
Tout se passe bien, et je me réjouis d'être ici!!!
Voici un résumé de mes aventures de février:
Je suis arrivée avec Fred qui est venue passer quelques jours avec moi. C'était super, le soir-même de notre arrivée on a rejoint des amis à moi au pub! Eh oui... pourquoi perdre son temps??! J'ai donc revu Neil et Dale! Et des potes à Neil. On a bien rigolé!
Pendant que Fred était là, on a joué les touristes et le soir direction le pub en général... Eh oui, on est en Angleterre ou on ne l'est pas!!
Après le départ de Fred: recherche d'emploi (et oui, les choses sérieuses ont commencé!!)
Lucky me, j'ai trouvé une mission d'un mois dans une boîte de publicité, qui organisait le Festival de Cannes de la publicité. J'étais chargée de contacter les agences de pub un peu partout dans le monde pour leur demander si elles participaient au Festival cette année, et savoir le nombre d'inscriptions qu'elles pensaient envoyer.
Le job en lui-même n'était plus passionnant au bout de deux semaines, mais j'ai adoré l'ambiance là-bas et j'y ai rencontré des gens supers avec qui je garde contact depuis, c'est génial!
Julie (danoise), Carolina (italienne), Rania (grecque) et Mauro (italien), ils sont tous super sympa!
Et c'est toujours une expérience intéressante! Ce fut mon premier job dans une entreprise anglaise!
Entre temps, j'ai été contactée par une agence de recrutement spécialisée dans les langues. Ils m'ont proposé le poste de Sales Coordinator with French, que j'occupe en ce moment! J'ai eu deux entretiens avec ma boîte actuelle et je sentais que ça se passait bien et que j'avais des chances de décrocher le poste! Chose faite!

At last... Here is my weblog!!!! I wanna thank my friends from whom I "borrowed" the pictures.
So... I've been in London for 3 months now, and I have to say everything is going well over here.
I arrived on Feb 4th, travelling with my good friend Fred. We met up with Neil and Dale (and Neil's mates) - yeah, never lose time! - and we went to... well, that's an easy one!! To the pub, o'course!!!!
It was a fun night, and I'm glad Fred enjoyed London!
We went sightseeing for a few days and spent most evenings at the pub...
I was really happy Fred was here with me for a few days; especially as she was going to Shanghai a few weeks later. We had a great time!
I found my first job 10 days after I arrived! I worked for one month for the Cannes Lions, The International Advertising Festival taking place in June in France. Basically I had to phone advertising agencies all over the world to ask them if they were gonna take part in the competition this year and how many entries they were gonna send.
The job itself wasn't that exciting after a few weeks (doing the same thing all over again), but at least I met a lot of interesting people, from all around the world!
Julie (Danish), Carolina (Italian), Rania (Greek) and Mauro (Italian, too), these were the members of the Crazy Cannes Lions Team!!!
In the meantime I found my new job, i.e. my current position: Sales Coordinator with French (and Italian) at Textonnia. It's a textile company exporting yarns and fabrics almost all around the world.
I work with 4 people, and everyone is nice and supportive. It's a very pleasant environment to work in.
I basically take care of all the shipments and follow-up of orders. I have to liaise between the production in Malaysia (our main office) and our customers.
It's very interesting and never boring!
