Friend in Swindon

Voilà Neil, c'est un pote qui habite à Swindon (dans l'ouest) et on essaie de se voir quand on peut.
En fait, je le connais depuis la fac d'Angers (2002) puisque je faisais ma Maîtrise et il était lecteur. On a gardé contact depuis! Et c'est grâce a lui que je connais Dale.
This is Neil, a friend of mine who lives in Swindon (West Country) and we try to meet up whenever we can.
I know him from the University of Angers (2002) as back then I was doing my Masters and he was a "lecteur" (teaching language assistant). We've kept in touch ever since! And I've known Dale through him.

Vue de Windsor. Ca a l'air très mignon, même si on n'a pas trop eu le temps de visiter en fait.
Après Legoland, on pensait faire un tour, mais quand on a vu le temps on a vite changé d'avis...
A view of Windsor. It looks really nice, even though we didn't have time to visit.
Back from Legoland, we thought we'd go for a walk and take a look, but when we saw what a horrible weather there was we changed our minds very quickly...

Hum... ben ouais, c'était une bonne idée d'essayer, non? Ca a un peu séché mon pantalon donc pas mal. Pour ce qui est de mes chaussettes et mes shoes, n'en parlons pas...
No comment. Well, that was a good idea, no? I almost managed to dry out my trousers. But as for my socks and my shoes, it was pointless...
